The NCWorks Career Center in Elizabeth City is hosting a Veterans Job and Resource Fair on Tuesday, November 9, 2021.
The event, set for 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., and will feature employers and community partners, and will have information sessions for veteran services. It will be held at the NCWorks Career Center, 111 Jordan Plaza, Elizabeth City, NC 27909.
NCWorks career advisors, employers, and community agencies will be in attendance to assist veterans transitioning to civilian employment. Career Advisors and veteran representatives will be on hand to assist with job openings, resume writing, and interviewing techniques. Employers will be available offering positions with competitive salaries for employment. In addition, community resource agencies will be available to discuss resources including but not limited to: counseling, tuition assistance, and training.
