The Museum of the Albemarle will host a Spring Take-and-Make pick-up activity packet. Information on historical spring beliefs and events can be shared with children by adults and older siblings. The brief history and fact sheets describe some traditions, cultural, and religious reasons the beginning of spring and Easter are celebrated. Included in the packet will be spring related hands-on activities. Packets may be picked up at the museum beginning Monday, March 20 until Thursday, March 31.
Suitable for pre-school through lower elementary. Please call 252-335-1453 to reserve ten or packets.
