Drain water hoses to keep from getting damaged from freezing.
Check windows to be sure they are secured tightly and do the same for your doors and inspect the weather stripping.
Keep curtains, drapes and loose blankets away from portable heat sources if in use. Instruct children to steer clear of these items while playing indoors.
If you have pets please remember them, bring them in when the weather gets to freezing temperatures. They may require more food to keep their metabolism working in this colder weather.
